The fit is perfect. Usually our dog has trouble with clothes because of his broad shoulders and tiny waist, but this robe fits him great. I love the velcro tab on the tummy to fasten it. Makes it very easy to put on. If you knew our dog, you would know that's saying a lot cause he does not normally like to be messed with to put on clothes, but he LOVES wearing this robe!

This is the best designed dog robe. It's for people who seriously need their dog to get dry and not shake all over the house. It's 100% cotton and not microfiber. It does run small. Rita is an English Springer Spaniel, I got her the XL based on the other reviews and it's a great fit.

My 10 year old husky dislikes wearing anything other than her raincoat for walks. She was able to hangout in her robe after a wet Seattle walk in comfort. No typical pacing, and it dried her coat pretty nicely. I didn't use the back leg elastics (which holds in place) because she didn't like those, but it stayed it place without having to use them.

This is very well made. The Velcro strips are wide and easy to close. The material is thick and absorbent. This is a great dog coat to wrap my Springer in on the way home from the beach. She spent an hour swimming in the ocean and digging in the sand. 20 minutes driving home and she was almost completely dry. Best yet was the car wasn’t covered in sand and didn’t smell of wet dog. It washed great and is ready to use again.
